About Me

A self-professed science nerd since birth, I was destined to be involved in the science field in some way.

I graduated in February 2014 from The Michener Institute with an Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science. Prior to that, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.Sc in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry before making the move to Toronto in 2011. I'm currently a Master of Public Health student at the University of Waterloo.

As a new member of the Laboratory Medicine profession, I'm looking to help change the Canadian Healthcare landscape by making science accessible as well as advocate for laboratory professionals. I am passionate about helping bring our profession to the forefront and also encouraging young girls to consider STEM careers, such as laboratory medicine, in the future.

Along with my passion for all things nerdy, I enjoy playing soccer and I'm a die-hard Habs fan.
